On 13 June 2006, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi paid a one-day visit to Selangor with a tour of the Selangor Veggie Park in Hulu Yam.Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi visited the Selangor Permanent Food Production Park, Veggie Park in Hulu Yam, the Fresh-Water Fish Breeding Training Centre developed by PKPS Bukit Tinggi Sdn Bhd in Rawang, and the Herbal Farming Centre, Selangor Herbatorium, also in Rawang.
